FitzRoy, the highest peak in Patagonia, bathed in beautiful morning light reflected in Lago Capri.

It was a two hour hike, almost all uphill and in the dark to get to Lago Capri before sunrise.  As is typical for Patagonia, it was cold and windy on the trail.  However, we were encouraged that it would be clear once we got to Lago Capri since we could see the Milky Way while hiking, an absolutely unforgettable sight through the overhanging trees. The sunrise didn’t disappoint.  The wind stopped long enough for the lake to seamlessly reflect the yellow morning light bouncing off an incredibly clear FitzRoy.
