Alaskan Wildflower

Alaskan Foxglove flower in Potlatch Park near Ketchikan, Alaska.

We went to look at totem  poles in Potlatch Park near Ketchikan Alaska.  It was an overcast, drizzly, morning, not atypical in southeastern Alaska.   I came across these very pretty purple flowers looking very similar to what I think are orchids, that I later learned were Foxglove flowers, growing abundantly wild wherever we walked.  I thought they were much more interesting than totem poles and made this image between raindrops.
