Island covers with stormclouds while sailing in Gulf of Alaska. 

For most of our trip up the southeast coast of Alaska it was cloudy and very overcast.  A number of times, particularly either late or early in the day when the sun was low on the horizon, scenes of the clouds, the soft light and the passing islands combined magically to produce unusual scenic images.  I made this ephemeral image late in the afternoon while we were sailing towards Juneau.
